I believe that connecting with people is crucial. I aim for a genuine connection in order to capture a natural, fresh, legitimate expression of the person or people that I photograph on a daily basis.

I am very fortunate that I love what I do because when my subject is not someone but something (product, real estate, or food photography for example) I can still apply this principle of connecting. No matter what I am photographing, having this mindset makes the assignment have a purpose.

I am a family man, one of my kids is in the spectrum. This is something that has taught me a lot about how to photograph kids that are autistic, with down syndrome, handicapped, or any other health challenge. These kids are so sweet!

Art and design were part of me since I was a kid; I always said that photography was a portion of that hidden talent. This inclination made me pursue photography at a higher level and so I applied for a position at a photography studio. That was back in 2002, the beginning of my photography journey, one that I still learn and enjoy.

There are multiple things that I am passionate about such as soccer, classical music, reading and... chocolate :)
