I love being outdoors, living an active life, riding my bike and taking walks with my dog, Memphis. I love shooting portraits of all kinds. As the then editor of Privateer magazine, I worked closely with Dan on a number of occasions, notably a 3-week road trip around California that formed the backbone of our 16th issue. We were in a pressurised position, needing to get 160 pages of words and photos from one trip, but Dan was unflappable and came up with the goods day-in, day-out, in a broad range of situations, from corporate portraits to high school sports events to factory visits. Dan is hugely creative, reliable, and most importantly to me, someone I enjoy working with. I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again, and I would recommend him to any individual or business that relies on visual storytelling to promote their products.
