Hello everyone! Welcome to another episode of "Behind the Lens". My name is Jerrick and I been a photographer for about 3 years now. Ever since a kid I always wanted to get drafted into the NBA and well that dream didn't turn out for me but I found another. I would go NBA basketball games and use my phone to take pictures of everything I could snap. I was literally blown away by the quality of photos that were literally in the palm of my hands. The more I took pictures the more I realized how exciting taking pictures can be! So I did some homework on Youtube saved up some money and I bought a professional camera.

I was originally inspired by my local barber to buy a professional camera and try freelance photography. So I started off small taking Instagram photos of my friends and family just to get the hang of the camera. As I got used to the camera I became quicker and more experienced at capturing moments. It all came together when I brought my camera to my family car show. The photographer didn't show up so they decided to hire me on the spot.
