  We had Dorothy do our son's newborn photos in late April. Dorothy was fantastic and the pictures turned out amazing.

  
  

  The initial phone communication and explanation was comprehensive and informative. There was a breakdown of what we were paying for and what we were receiving in the package we selected. The pricing was competitive and well worth it.

  
  

  The photos were taken in our apartment. When she arrived, Dorothy was very patient and gentle with our son. We also had photos taken of our respective mother-in-laws, since both were in Chicago. She was very attentive and clearly experienced in dealing with infants and their family. Dorothy was creative in coming up with the best arrangements and angles, but also very open to suggestions.

  
  

  After the shoot, Dorothy sent us some teasers and we got high res images within a week and we will select photos in a few days. I really appreciated the prompt replies, and attention to detail. She communicates great by e-mail or phone and went out of their way to ensure we had what we needed (initial send of proofs and final copies). She even called my mom to discuss the selection of pictures.

  
  

  Great service all around, highly recommended! We were very impressed with Dorothy and plan to have Dorothy for future family events and life milestones. The Dance of Life will continue.

  Dorothy's photographs are really beautiful! They look professional, creative, and purposeful.

  
  

  Dorothy photographed the annual Andersonville April Fools Benefit Bash. The venue was Mary's Attic, Hamburger Mary's. The space was darkly-lit and very full of people! Still, Dorothy's photos came out wonderfully.

  
  

  Her demure and attitude were both very professional and I would be happy to hire her for another event.

  Initially Dorothy was to shoot the boys (my dogs,) but when I Invited her to my daughter's 1st Birthday party. She came and she took wonderful pictures of Dori and the boys, as well as the whole family. Dorothy comes into a room and turns total chaos (1 year old birthday party) into really special memories. I was so pleased with the experience and would recommend her to everyone!

  The first thing I have to say is, if you're interested in not looking "goosed" or tense in your wedding day photos, she is the photographer for you. Dorothy was so calm and focused on the task at hand. It was an art for her and it showed. The composition, the color, the saturation were all perfect. She even used Photoshop to erase the unavoidable refuse that was on the beach. (Ah, Chicago.) She helped me so much with calming me down during the engagement and wedding photo shoots. When i would unconsciously be gripping my soon to be husband's shoulder, she told me to breathe. When i would find my self holding my breath, again she calmly told me how everything was going to be perfectly beautiful. Honestly I believe it's because of her, the engagement pictures were wonderful, and the wedding album.....magical.
