I want to find that moment that captures my subjects' personality, memorializes a moment of their life and conveys an experience. Next, I want it to look as beautiful as it can with great light, composition and a deft touch in the edit bay.

Arriving from out of town and not knowing any professional photographers, we took a leap of faith and hired Paul Aker to photograph our beach wedding. He was great. He took more than the allotted time with us and made sure everything was right. Did our son's wedding on Kapalua Bay and it was amazing! The guy is great! The pictures were all outstanding and then he edited the majority of them along with making two videos. My wife and I adopted a year ago. This was our first family photo since the addition of our now 4 year old son. It was very important for us to get this right, This would be something we would look back on for the rest of our lives. Paul got it right. He captured those moments in time that are truly special and reflective of our little family. We also wanted our two dogs involved in the photos.
