Shanelle Jacobs is a photographer and filmmaker based in Washington, DC — but she'll take any opportunity to travel! She specializes in Portraits, Concerts, and Concept. Born in Bronx, New York, Shanelle Jacobs has resided in various states along the east coast. Shanelle started her photography career in 2014 by simply picking up her first point-and-shoot camera and a photography book, then going outside to capturing images of the world around her. What started out as a hobby and quickly turned into something more. Shanelle is now a full-time photographer and filmmaker, working with up-and-coming models, artists, local and national brands, and documenting a variety of events. Her philosophy for Shanelle Jacobs Photography is simple: “ I look to create great memories by bringing out every emotion with each photo that I take. If I haven't done that, then I haven't done my job. I intend to have every session and event to be better than the last.” When she's not taking photos, you'll find her volunteering, exploring, or spending time with family.
