I was a writer before I became a photographer and that storytelling aspect followed me into photography.
I do portraits mainly. I love the conversations and getting to know people then bringing that to life with through the camera. The portraits with personality are some of my favorites in the portfolio.
I also do advertising for businesses and brands and thats where the storytelling comes back in. Styling and shooting are just half the battle, but with advertising taking a more lifestyle approach, it's important to tell the story of the brand in the photo projects.
A fun fact about me
I've also worked on set of movies and commercials in the Grip & Electric department (lighting everything. Spoiler alert, movie sets are crazy!!! But also really fun.
