My love affair with the camera began when I was only eight years old! I started taking pictures of everything I could.

While I enjoyed documenting life around me, I was not very focused on photography until Spring 2018. That’s when I bought my first Sony mirrorless camera. I fell in love again and realized that my passion is documenting maternity, birth, and newborn sessions. While in her photography class, she relearned how to use a camera and took pictures of anything that piqued her interest - from couples arm wrestling or playing at a park to landscapes and Fresh 48 (the first 48 hours of life). Then her world fell apart and she set the camera down.

July 2018, I was diagnosed with Stage IIIC Metastatic Inflammatory Breast Cancer. During chemotherapy, the only camera I picked up was my cell phone. A few days before my mastectomy, I was able to do do a boudoir shoot. For the first time since diagnosis, I felt truly beautiful, especially once I got to see the pictures. This inspired me to pick up the camera again.

Ever since I finished radiation, my focus has been on photography and learning everything about my craft that I can!
