I am a photographer in the Portland, Oregon area focusing on photographing people. I bring a positive, easy-going energy to my sessions. My role is to capture the essence of the subjects, connecting with them as individuals. While I take my photography seriously, I try to not take myself too seriously.

I started photography as a child when I was foolishly given a Kodak Instamatic. My dad loved photography, too, so I’d like to think he gave me that camera. Feeling uncomfortable being photographed myself, I dissolve the barrier between those in front of and behind the camera. I relish collaborating with my subjects to create art that embodies their spirit.

I am an unabashed romantic who loves Hallmark Channel original movies and romantic comedies. As a bit of an eclectic person, I enjoy the path less traveled and welcome the unconventional. I would love to learn your story and capture your authentic self photographically.
