How did you get started in photography?

I got my start as an art photographer capturing the built environment. Then one of my photography professors made an assignment that required us to capture people; that's when my interest in portraiture was piqued. Art photography is a forever passion, still, I thoroughly enjoy meeting new people during our portrait sessions.

What do you love about your job?

The value of a photograph increases with time. I love the sentimental impact of photography. Every time I activate my shutter, I know that I'm capturing a moment in time only to be relieved by reviewing the photographs.

What types of shoots do you enjoy most?

In the past, I loved fashion shoots with friends! We would spend an entire day in-studio operating within our zones of genius—from fashion design to make-up artistry.

Today, I enjoy working with many types of creatives to capture their portraits or creations.

For certain shoot types, do you allow multiple clothing changes or location changes?

Absolutely--we need to create a plan that ensures maximum efficiency.
