I'm naturalistic and enjoy photographing life events at a location that holds a special place in your heart. Wedding and live events bring me joy as the people enjoy their day and engage with each other. Landscape and wildlife photography gets me away from it all with quiet open space and I love that I can bring people into that space with the images I make. Photography allows me to share with you great memories for a life time and bring you to places you may have not seen or enjoy reflecting.

My photography was selected to be shown in the Nevada State Assembly Building during the 2019 Legislative Session, honoring Nevada.
A fun fact about me
I have a photography segment that airs weekly through National Grass Roots Broadcasting, available on live streaming services such as Roku and Prime, it is called "Capture It" and I offer tips and tricks on making photography easier so everyone can make photos of what is of interest to them.

We used Melody for our wedding in Virginia City. You WILL NOT find a better photographer or a better deal. She was fantastic. Came early..stayed late and covered everything. She was great and very easy to work with and has a lot of cute ideas. We are extremely happy with our quality pictures.
