I come from a design background which gives me a different perspective on photography and what I want to capture. In my personal work I want images to be bold and stand out.
What I enjoy about photographing families is that I get to capture a moment in their life that they will remember. I get to be there in that moment and share what I see what stands out to me during that moment in their life. This is why I enjoy candid photos more than staged or posed, because they happened naturally and they give emotion and feelings that may be lost in time.
A fun fact about me
I ran the Chicago and Disney Marathons in the same year!
